Cleaning Tips: Find Out Your Ideal Way To Make Aroma
Just as there is an infinity of aromas, each one that matches more with your style or your state of mind that day, there are also various ways of making the flavoring.
Here, we’ll show you some of them so you can identify what else has to do with you. Then just choose your fragrance – or create your own, further personalizing your apartment.
Use two cups of water, four packages of unflavored gelatin, 15g to 20g of your preferred essence, two tablespoons of salt and food coloring to make a gel flavoring.
Heat a glass of water, mix the essence and coloring and turn off as soon as it boils. Then mix the unflavored gelatin and salt until completely dissolved. Add the second glass of cold water and stir gently. Pour the liquid into one or more glass jars and let cool to harden.
It can also be made with 100 ml of water, 200 ml of cereal alcohol and essence or essential oil. You choose the aroma and the amount added according to the desired intensity of the perfume. If desired, add food coloring to the color of your choice.
Now make the diffuser by placing this mixture in a bottle or any container with aperture. Take some barbecue sticks, cut the tip and arrange them in the bottle, keeping the tips outside. So the wood will absorb the liquid and spread the smell through the environment.
Make your own essence
The market offers a wide range of essences of all kinds, but you can save even more if you make it at home. There are several quite simple and natural recipes that you can avail.
Lemon and rosemary
1/4 thinly sliced apple
1 small lemon in slices
1 small twig of fresh rosemary
1 glass pot
1 ceramic fondue set
Place the apple, lemon and rosemary in the glass jar and pour the hot water over them. Carefully place the uncapped pot on the fondue set with the candle lit, or use the ceramic pot that comes with the appliance instead of the glass pot. This type does not use sticks, because as the mixture heats up, the fragrance is released.
Orange peel blossom scent
1 container of glass or ceramic dish
Clove of India
Peel the oranges into a single strip and wrap them in a flower. On the ceramic dish make a “walk” of coarse salt and arrange the orange peel flowers on top. Garnish with Indian cloves and let the smooth smelling release naturally.
Decorating tips: use your scent to make the environment more beautiful too
The decoration tip, in this case, is to choose bottles or pots that have to do with your style: rustic, vintage, classic, modern, etc. The flavoring with sticks is an excellent gift, so it is worth investing in a special glass.
Ideally, the mouth of the container should be small so that the alcohol does not dissipate quickly. If it is a large neck, drill the lid of the container into the width of the sticks with a nail or drill and fit them there.
If the glass is too small or too light, take care that the chopsticks do not weigh too much and end up turning the mixture. In that case, place aquarium pebbles on the bottom of the glass, balancing the weight. There are colored pebbles that also contribute to the decoration of the house.
To transport your full flavoring, make a modeling clay or EVA cookie and apply it to the inside of the lid, closing the glass without the sticks. Take them apart.
How to choose the fragrance
The aromatizer should give the feeling of cleanliness, peace and harmony, so be careful with the very strong aromas, which can bother people allergic or generate headache. At home, place them in the larger places, where the locals do not stay for long, avoiding the continuous contact with the aroma.
Bathrooms and kitchens can also receive flavorings. In the kitchen, the cleaning tip is to choose the aromas made from citrus fruits, which help to nullify the smell of smoke and fat. In the bathroom, the scents of mint and pine fall very well, remembering the smell of the saunas. In lavatories, the weak lavender gives a feeling of comfort and cleanliness.
When the idea is to enhance the sensation of relaxation, such as in bedrooms and home teather, for example, chamomile, which has soothing properties, is the most appropriate essence – or cotton, reminiscent of the smell of baby clothes.
